Synopsis

A royal family hosts a marriage-seeking party. Nine princesses, each with distinct character flaws, embark on magical quests to self-improve and find love within one year. A giant fairy godmother named Mogo initiates their adventures. The narrative unfolds across nine individual princess storylines.

Characters include Nancy (nervousness issues), Lillian (excessive loudness), Lois (directionally challenged), Sheila (hygiene concerns), along with King Steve, Queen, princes, clowns, hand puppets, and a three-headed monster.

Production Notes

The show comprises 11 scenes: opening, closing, and nine individual princess sequences (4–10 actors per scene). Designed as an accessible rehearsal piece suitable for large casts, particularly effective for programs with numerous strong female performers.

Engaging for children, adults, and high school participants. A recent production occurred at the American International School of Zagreb, Croatia.
